Pittsburgh, PA – DRS Architects: Kathryn A. Jolley is Retiring.
After 37 years in the industry, Kathryn A. Jolley, ASID, Senior Principal of DRS Architects, Inc. is retiring. Kathryn joined DRS after graduating with a BS in Interior Design from La Roche College. She was the Managing Principal of DRS Interiors during the 1990s and, after architecture and interiors merged, she became a Principal of DRS Architects.
Kathryn’s personality has been well-suited to business development. She is skillful at understanding a client’s needs and built teams to meet those needs whether for higher education, healthcare, laboratories, hospitality, corporate or government work. She has particularly enjoyed master planning for higher education clients. Kathryn has encouraged a lively and interactive office through company picnics, a women’s book club, participation in community events and service projects, professional organizations, and her service to La Roche College as the chair of the board of trustees.
During the past year, five principals have been added to the leadership team at DRS Architects: Paul Cali, AIA; Jon Funari, AIA; Scott Hazlett, AIA; Tobie Nepo, IIDA and Gretchen Zetler, IIDA. This group will continue to work with Senior Principals Phil Hundley, AIA and Greg Madej, AIA to provide excellence in service and design on each project.
